I’ve noticed there are precious few people who understand what being hardcore really is. So, as a public service (’cause I’m into community involvement and all) I’m going to help you out.
Here are some things that are decidedly hardcore:
-Johnny Cash
-Drinking Wild Turkey 101 because you want to, not because you’re trying to impress anyone
-Driving more than nine hours to see a show
-Loving your mom
-Tattoos that actually mean something, whether everyone can see them or not
-Chicks who shave their heads
-Brooklyn Kuntry Punk
-Pitbulls and the people who love them (fighting your dog is not hardcore, we all know you do it ’cause you’ve got a small dick)
-Being able to change a diaper in under two minutes
-Rock climbers
-Dancing well
-Hand holding
-Moving somewhere ’cause you want to, regardless of whether or not you know anyone
-Parallel parking
-Being able to make eye contact for more than 30 seconds
-Heavy Rebel
There are more things, but that’s a good start. So, go ahead, grasshoppers… practice and learn! (Although, really, TRYING to be hardcore is decidedly un-hardcore.)
